The Holiday Season is upon us and everyone is out shopping and enjoying the festivities. Remember the scammers are out there lurking waiting and ready to steal your sensitive information. When shopping online make sure the site is encrypted and has the secure link when checking out.

If shopping at local stores or even getting money out of ATM's make sure the machines are secure and haven't been tampered with. If you're having second doubts go with your gut instincts and seek out another secure location.

It's a good idea to monitor your activities to ensure all the transactions on your bank or credit card statements are showing only the charges you made, if additional charges pop up you should notify the your bank ASAP. This isn't to scare you but to make sure you're staying vigilant during the holiday season.
